two modules prism2_usb (kernel vs. linux-wlan-ng)??

AFAIK, the prism2_usb module is made from the linux-wlan-ng package
source.  The source makes two packages, the modules and the utilities. 
When you install the linux-wlan-ng package, you are just installing the
utilities, since you already have the modules.

You _need_ the utilities to run a dwl-122 (prism2_usb) device.  Just
the kernel modules are not able to enable the radio and so forth...
