Is the gcc compiler not part of the Ubuntu distribution? I type gcc at a shell prompt and I get a message of no such command. It appears like make is there. I find it hard to believe a Linux distribution with no c compiler. What am I doing wrong if it is there. How do I get it if it is not there. -- Kipton Moravec <kip at kdream.com>
