Converting all files to UTF-8 ?

I have recently installed 'cantus3', I will try to use that to fix my
mp3 tags and file names. I have about 300 files though, so it's gonna
take me ages.... :-/
But hopefully, once everything is properly converted to UTF-8, I will
never ever any problems with French/accented characters.
So it's althoughtr it's a real pita, let's see it as an 'investmetn',
for a trouble free future...

Well I don't know how important it is, but it sure plays a role into the
CD burning process. If I sadi that, it's because when I tried burning
something with 'Gnomebaker', it would fail everytime during the Cd image
creation. Apparently this is done using the 'mkisofs' library/uility.
And when trying ti burn something, it fails because of mkisofs, which
returns an error related to character encoding and UTF-8.
