nope, i am a reader as you are....
(but that absolutely doesnt matter)

this has nothing to do with political correctness, ubuntu has a code of
conduct and it is required that we all have read it and follow its
policy if we write on this list. being rude will only lower you in my
reputation, because i think that grown up people are able to speak in a
grown up manner.

i would never ever ban anybody from any list even if i could.

if you dont like it so you should blame David H. Crocker, Bolt Beranek
and Newman Inc., Kenneth T. Pogran, D. Austin Henderson, Jr.(2) and Bolt
Beranek and Newman Inc. for creating the "STANDARD FOR THE FORMAT OF
ARPA NETWORK TEXT MESSAGES" or rather the creators of your mailsoftware
because its missing a basic standard feature.
(better and more effective an indeed much more valuable for the
community would be to lend them a helping hand to get this long awaited
feature included as soon as possible)

im not saying you should softshoe your words, but behave like a grown up
person (execpt you are not which i would pull in account for an excuse),
ranting is a way to attract my ignorance and be sure that you wont gain
anything with this behavior. i am open to any kind of debate as long as
the people which attend it know and respect the rules of human
interaction (event if it gets hot minded)

i dont think i'm a stuffed shirt, in fact i dont even know what it means
(but can guess) as i'm no native english speaker and not too familiar
with english indignities. i just dont want to read such a rant from
somebody who obviously hasnt done his homework before he rants about a
topic he doesnt understand.
i wont follow up on this in no way, so i plea not to try to draw my
attention the way you obviously think it is right to do this.
ciao
oli
ps: because most of your words are adressed to the listmaster of this
list i send my reply back to the list to give him/her the opportunity to
answer your questions.
