Quote from bug report:
"I'm also seeing this problem with evolution 2.0.2 and only a local
calendar. My calendar.ics is 1.1Mb, and it takes easily more than a
minute to render the calendar. I also noticed that there is a notice
about tasks being read when I display the calendar, even though I
don't display the tasks in the calendar view at all."
Yep, that's the same one (my calendar is about 3 megs, so triple the
damage). Damn. There goes my hope for a quick fix. Looks like this has
been kicking around for a while.
I don't have a huge and complicated calendar. Granted, five kids
(including two teenagers), a working wife and a fairly undemanding
work schedule to keep on top of, but the calendar is purged (nothing
more than week old). And I wish I could keep track of my life beyond a
month or so, but I can't. I'm an edge case? I don't think so.
