how to mount a cd drive

by the way, is there anyone who knows if "ide-cd" is different from
"ide_cd".  I just noticed that I have the later in my /etc/modules
(added manually a few weeks ago) and it seems to work fine for me. 
But I'm curious about that other module with that similar name.
