display problems ongoing

Same problem here on my WinXP box; started about a month ago. I've
since installed Ubuntu, but the hard freezes continue, albeit less
frequently. I swapped my vidcard (also an nVidia) with a friend's, and
the problems ceased. I imagine yours is also hardware related ... good
