Name resolution with Sinus-111 wireless DSL router

Hi,

I'm afraid the method described in comment #2 of
https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2443#c2 doesn't work for
me. I've typed the command the comment suggested. It seems to have
worked, since the ipv6 entry has been changed to 'off' (see my
/etc/modprobe.d/aliases file's network section below).

However, after booting Ubuntu, my router (an SMC Barricade) still stops
resolving DNS addresses until it's rebooted. Can anyone help with this?

Again, I'm a Linux newbie.
