grub-installer (0.50ubuntu5) warty; urgency=low

  * Show the grub menu and raise the menu timeout if other operating systems
    are installed (closes: Ubuntu #993).

Did grub-installer prompt you saying that it had detected other
operating systems?

This was definitely not reverted. Either you were accidentally using an
older image, or you have DHCP/DNS configuration explicitly mentioning
the name 'debian'.
