What programs will be updated in in warty?

This has been covered quite a bit already. Only security updates will be 
included in Warty. But I will comment where appropriate...

Installing Firefox is pretty easy with the linux installer, so upgrading 
that isn't a big deal.

Yeah you're right. And the modularized version of x.org will come in the 
next release after Hoary (the current development cycle), from what I 
understand.

Exactly how I feel mate! I loved Debian but never used it long because 
it was SO far behind, even in development releases. But I think Ubuntu 
goes halfway and it's a good compromise.
