USB drive with multiple partitions

I have an external USB HDD with 7 FAT32 partitions.

First question for the Ubuntu guys - currently Hoary just does nothing
when I plug it in.  Are there any log files I can look through/send you
guys if you aren't already aware of this problem?


In warty, it works how I would expect - my one problem being, is there a
way to unmount the device, rather than each drive individually? (I hate
to say it, but...) Windows has us beat there, since I can just "eject"
the USB device rather than the individual drives. Clicking Unmount
volume seven times quickly gets tiresome.
