odd nautilus issue

It looks like it's not the symlinking in itself that's the problem, but
how nautilus stores this kind of information (I guess, not being a
programmer).
If I add an emblem to a subfolder or file to a symlinked folder it only
shows up if I go there via the symlink, but not if I navigate there
through the whole directory tree.
The same is true if I add the emblem having navigated there through the
directory tree.

That is, the emblem only shows up if I open the folder the same way as
when I added the emblem.

Not a major bug perhaps, but a UI oddity that probably should be fixed
eventually.
