DRI support for S3 Savage8 chip - will Ubuntu support it in Hoary?

I believe a lot of the 3D drivers for cards like that are supported
now in XOrg, so an upgrade to Hoary may do the trick for you.
I believe that when I had it installed (before switching to Ubuntu) my
laptop's ATI Rage Mobility's glxgears score jumped from 100 something
to over 200. :) Still terrible, but it was better than nothing.
