Rubbish. Examine a RH system and you will find credits to others 
incuding Debian.

In fact, they have been caught stealing BSD

As I understand BSD licences it's generally okay to incorporate BSD code 
into GPL code. A BSD licence is not "viral."

Not the other way though.
