acceleration

I installed some modified debian packages that allowed for dri
acceleration for my Omnichrome chipset from http://www.nixnuts.net/ that
worked great for me until I got a different video card. You could also
switch to hoary and get the dri binaries from freedesktop.org, when it
comes back up apparently it was compromised on the 15th.
These are both hacks that require some patience and a bit of work, they
are not simple fixes and I don't think they should be considered
permanent fixes to this issue. Hopefully future versions will included
acceleration for these chipsets, maybe it does for the MGA but I know
that it didn't work for the Omnichrome, from VIA. It might even already
be in the hoary system, like I said I don't use this card anymore and I
did this before the final version of warty was released.
