Windows XP Dual Boot Install

I'm working on a doc over at:

I'd like to ask any users that have successfully dual booted Windows XP 
(or Windows 2000), if they don't mind, to e-mail me with what you did so 
I can document the 'cleanest' method to getting Ubuntu Warty on a dual 
boot with XP.

Examples of info I need:
-what program you used to partition out space for Ubuntu (especially 
dealing with the NTFS format) (and was it a free program, if so where 
can users find it)
-how difficult you would rate the process
-if you went with an open FAT32 partition so Ubuntu and Windows can 
'share' e-mail, how did you set this up
-anything else relevant that I haven't asked for

Thanks, this would help me out a bunch while I wait for my ShipIt CDs to 
arrive sometime. I wanted to wait until I received them to do a 
completely fresh install and go through the steps myself and make sure 
all goes as planned.
