Nvu should please the people that are familiar with Composer, as it's
a fork of that code. Personally I think it's just as bad as Frontpage
and has even less functionality, but I do all my HTML/CSS/PHP editing
in Emacs (and occasionally Nano, depending on the situation), so don't
pay any attention to me. :-)

The best Linux app designed for web development in my opinion is
"Screem". It's kinda like the source code view in Adobe GoLive or
Macromedia Dreamweaver. It does syntax highlighting, site management,
gives HTML/CSS/PHP tag definitions, provides a tree or list overview
of a whole site, has template features, CVS functionality, lots of
wizards for those that need them.... I could keep going, but I won't.
:-)

The point about Mozilla Sunbird is valid too I think. It has a lot of
Apple's iCal functionality (which might be nice for keeping an online
community calendar). The ubuntu-doc team has been talking about using
the calendars in Evolution and/or Sunbird to keep track of some of
their projects as well. It's not nearly as mature as
Firefox/Thunderbird, but I've never had any problems with it.

Ok. That's my $.02 :-)
