Speed comparison between the fresh ubuntu and the ubuntu upgraded from sid

The system I'm using now is upgraded from sid(I'll call it ubuntu_sid
later), I installed a fresh warty from
warty-release-install-i386.iso(I'll call this one ubuntu_fresh), I
found that launching mozill-firefox on ubuntu_fresh is much faster
than on ubuntu_sid. It just took 4s on ubuntu_fresh, while 12s on
ubuntu_sid. Why? It's the first app after I logined.
