Problems installing Hoary

I had the exact same problem when I tried to install Hoary from the
Array CD 1 on my Toshiba laptop, it quits before it gets to the
graphical enviroment. I suppose I could have used aptitude to manually
request the xserver and gnome packages but I decided it was better to
go back to a Warty release install and then do the dist-upgrade to
Hoary from that.
