it's not really a good idea to have apt-get upgrade running like this.
it's no problem have apt-get update run on a cron job but how do you
answer the debconf questions when it runs unattended?
you can get apt to download the packages but not install automagically
and then run the update manually when you have the time to answer the
questions.
