Stupid mistake trying to set up metacity theme

I was trying to install a metacity theme (that wasn't showing up in the
theme manager), and I messed up gnome!

I used the following command:

gconftool-2 -t string -s /usr/share/themes
/home/dean/.metacity/themes/Icetheme/

When I re-logged into gnome, I get the following error dialogue that will
repop up every time I click it:

Error:I've detected a panel already running, and will now exit.

I can still use the desktop and all the programs--there is just no taskbar
or tasktray or gnome menu top bar thingies... Anyone have a quick fix for
me?

Sorry for the annoyance :|
