Hi,
I'm trying to use the Belkin F8T001 bluetooth usb adapter in Ubuntu.
This is not the first time I use this device under linux, so I know it
should work, but it doesn't with Ubuntu kernel/bluez combination (Dunno
if it is bluez version or kernel related problem).
Here is the /var/log/messages tail:
Oct 13 15:32:38 localhost kernel: Bluetooth: HCI device and connection
manager initialized
Oct 13 15:32:38 localhost kernel: Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
Oct 13 15:32:38 localhost usb.agent[5671]: hci_usb: loaded successfully
Oct 13 15:32:38 localhost usb.agent[5674]: bcm203x: loaded successfully
Oct 13 15:32:38 localhost usb.agent[5672]: hci_usb: loaded successfully
Oct 13 15:32:38 localhost kernel: Bluetooth: HCI USB driver ver 2.7
Oct 13 15:32:38 localhost kernel: bcm203x: probe of 2-1:1.0 failed with
error -5Oct 13 15:32:38 localhost kernel: usbcore: registered new driver
bcm203x
Oct 13 15:32:38 localhost kernel: usbcore: registered new driver hci_usb
Oct 13 15:32:39 localhost usb.agent[5674]: hci_usb: already loaded
I know that this info is not enough to track down this problem. How can
I provide better feedbak? Am I missing something? (I haven't found
anything in bugzilla)
Anyway, I love Ubuntu.
Cheers,
Rubio
