Clipboard program for Ubuntu/Gnome?

Can somebody tell me if there's a good Gnome version of a KDE program
like klipper?  It was my understanding that the Gnome clipboard manager
is no longer being developed, or else hasn't been updated for a year or
more.  The only thing I miss from Libranet is klipper, but I know that
KDE apps may not be totally comfortable in the Ubuntu environment.
