Luke,

No, I have been using Linux distros with kernel 2.4.

Sorry but I am new to the unloading/reloading of modules. How is
unloading/reloading done specifically psmouse module? Thank you.

Did any of the other distros you tried use the 2.6 kernel?

I have much the same problem with a D-Link KVM here, and it only ever
happens with 2.6 kernels. I generally ahve to unload the psmouse module,
and reload it again to get everything working as it should.

Luke
