Latest hoary update broke my X (but could be resolved)

Hi

After todays hoary update my X got all messed up on my laptop. When
starting up everything was visiable two or three times over the screen
and there were big blocks around the mouse coursor.  Restarting X did
not help, restarting the computer did not help. sudo dpkg-reconfigure
xserver-xorg did help.

Everything is now fine.

This could be good for other people to know in case they run into the
same problem.
