nautilus-cd-burner repeatedly creates coasters while cdrecord works perfectly

Thanks for the pointer, Shawn, but I've found the problem:

BTW, the reason I can write to a locked session is that both
nautilus-cd-burner *and* my original cdrecord command specify
"blank=fast".
