Changing grub from mbr to hdb1

I have 2 IDE drives installed on my machine.  While installing Ubuntu,
it didn't ask me where to install grub and did so in the MBR.  I use GAG
for my boot loader and need Ubuntu to install grub on hdb1 (I installed
ubuntu with / and /home partitions on hdb1 and hdb2 respectively).  How
can I change this so grub is loaded on hdb1?
