More Bluetooth!

Hey All!

Apologies if this has been answered before, but I've spent some time
searching for an answer and can't seem to find anything.

I've got a HP nw8000 notebook, and I'm trying to get the bluetooth
going, the problem is, that ununtu doesn't seem to pickup the bluetooth
device at all. A call to lspci does not show anything bluetooth related.
The machine has a key which enables/disables wireless and bluetooth,
which when I was using windows would indicate that wireless/bluetooth
was either on or off by illuminating an LED. This key does nothing under
linux. Strangely enough my wireless adaptor ( Atheros Communications,
Inc. AR5212 802.11abg) is picked up and appears in lspci, however the
bluetooth does not.

My only alternative is to install windows and try to switch on the
wireless/bluetooth using the hotkey. Doing so will probably stuff up
grub by overwriting the MBR (I would think). And windows just doesn't
install onto external USB harddrives. I'm trying to avoid buying another
notebook hard drive just to get it going.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

- Gary

PS. Us folks get left out of release parties here in Australia :) well
at least as far as I know.
