Yeahhh, I can see my name now :o)))
but althugh there very few name in Europe yet, it is impossible to read
the names, nor to judge "density" of Ubuntu lovers for a given country,
since you can't even see the country frontiers...
I hope we can improve this map to make it more useful. My thought are :
1) Put a single (bright red) pixel to show one Ubuntu lover, or if in
desert area like africa or Austalia, maybe make it a little bigger, to
make it more visible. This way, we can easily/quickly/vsiually get a
feel for the density of Ububuntu lovers in any part of the world, just
by judging of the density of the red pixels
2) Then add some stats functionality to the page, like :
- tell you how many people are in a given country, or a given part of
the world
- type the name/nickname of someone, in a text box, and click a "show
this member on the map" button, so that you can see where your Ubuntu
"brothers" live exactly, and see if they are sleeping or not.. ;o)
Any other ideas ?? Now that I know how the basics of editing the wiki
(thanks Daniel ! ;-), is there a page where I could suggest these
improvements ?? :o)))
