urgent help: Freeze after Samba

I would install cups, just cups, and reinstalling the printer after that I
would boot and see if the system reboots OK or freezes at boot, if it all
goes well and you need to share files between Linux and a Windows box then
install Samba and see if it boots.

This would be the steps I take to see where the problem really is and if
it's because of the printer, cups or samba
