Hoary upgrade: no network connection

I had this same problem. What worked for me was to delete Hoary (I
deleted the partition) and re-installed from scratch. Hoary then work
for me. That is everything except my wireless card (Machine is a Dell
Inspiron 9100 laptop. Broadcom b/g card). As I am a newbie I have not
got a clue how to sort this one out. I did post the problem but so far
nobody has responded.
