Veronica Mars (UPN), 4/12- Veronica happens upon the following
conversation in library?, computer room?- guy: "wait, how can you even
have an opinion on Ubuntu if you haven't tried it? 2-6 kernel, live cd,
they even had Gnome 2.0 (sic) the day Warty Warthog (!!) came out". girl:
"I'm sorry, I'm perfectly content with OS X"... something about
deamplified (anybody care to enlighten me- Google yields nada) fonts (in
Ubuntu); retort by guy- "the fonts aren't deamplified, and it's free
<throws up hands>, fine then, live in the dark ages" etc, etc, scene over.

Veronica Mars, for those scratching their heads, is a prime time
tv show in US- stars ungodly cute Kristen Bell as a
highschooler-slash-private-eye, which is a promotion of sorts from her
appearance in a few episodes of HBO's Deadwood (incredible show, IMO) as a
teenie-whore (well, at least she worked in the relatively high-class Bella
Union as opposed to The <skanky> Gem Saloon).

Further indication, hopefully, of progress towards our goal of World
Domination!!!
