The most current version of drivers are what I'm using..
Off Nvidia's web  site:
 
	Linux Display Driver - IA32

Operating System: Linux IA32
Release Date: March 31, 2005

the glx module on my machine:
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so.1.0.7174

I can't seem to find the 7176 build that you mention anywhere...
