I got it to install OK, but I can't seem to get the .desktop files to
work in my /usr/share/applications directory.  It looks like they will
have to be rewritten by hand and I don't have time to do that right
now.

I got the same error using those packages.  I think I'll just stick to
the debs I made from the rpms, because I don't get any error like
that.

I haven't played with the thesaurus yet.
