Hoary Startup & X Server Failure

I don't know if the problem is same that I had but... here we go:

When I installed hoary on my computer, the X wasn't working. I
installed hoary again but nothing changed. Then I reconfigured X, and
wrote command "startx" and it worked   :-) 

I don't remember what command did I use to reconfigure X but heres some
suggestions with quick search:



sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

or

sudo dpkg --configure -a



if these don't work, search the forum fore help.
