Hi all,

Because freenode is under attack from spambots, only people who
registered their nickname and identified themselves can join #ubuntu.
Others will be redirected to a channel where the problem is explained in
the topic and in periodic announcements.

Sorry for this inconvenience, I will remove these restrictions once the
*insert colorful phrases that don't fit on this list* bots have
died/gone away/been banned.
