Hardisk clicks more often when wake up from suspension?

Sorry for my English. I hope to explain the situation clearly.

My question is normally the hard disk clicks every 5min and it's
bearable. However, when suspend the laptop say for one hour and switch
it on again it clicks more often in the order of every few seconds.
