Password Manager Available for Gnome?

I am looking for a password manager that I can use on the Breezy Badger
system I just installed on my Macintosh Powerbook (12 inch G4).  I would
like a password-protected database that would keep track of my passwords
and other relevant info, like the date I set a password, notes, etc.  An
included password generator would be nice too.  I am currently using
Swordfish from CYBERSA on my Mac, and like it very much.  Does anyone
know of something like that for Gnome 2?  I don't mind compiling from
source, but if there is an easier way, like using Synaptic Package
Manager I'd like to try that first.

If someone has had success compiling a password manager from source for
a Mac PowerPC I would appreciate knowing about that too.
