Problem with /dev/dsp2

Hi

    I am using Ubuntu 5.10 on P4 with 512 MB RAM.  Problem I am facing
is when I use two SoundCards simultanously, first sound card (/dev/dsp1)
works good but the second one (/dev/dsp2) give big lot of noise in the
sound output  (some kind of sparking sound).  For this I am using two
creative soundcards (Sound Blaster Digital 4.1) and (SB Audigy 2 value).
Even I swapped both cards with each other (first in place of second and
second in place of first) but result was same, whichever soundcard is on
second slot that produces noise with sound output.  I also tried the
same of 3 different machines but no result.  If I use two soundcards
with windows, than it works fine on the same machine.

Please help.
