KDE menus

there are 2 problems whenever I use KDE,

1) Only One of my user freezes when logged into kde, I've to physically
restart the comp.

2) In Kde's Main Menu, K button on taskbar, when I move over a section if
there are many submenus, it spreads the section blocking the whole page? is
there any option to make the sub section scroll like in gnome's menu.
