Totem problem

I Hope you problem is already solved... I had the exact same error
message. I found two ways to resolve the problem:



- change the default video output in Multimedia system selector (or
similar, my gnome isn't in English) from -XWindow (X11/XShm/Xv)- to
-XWindow (No Xv)-. This resulted in somewhat choppy playback so I
prefer the other solution

- install -totem-xine- which immediately solved this problem without
side-effects.
