I use DbVisualiser, and for connecting to MSSQL i use MSSQLjdbc drivers.
Or something like that. I actually have no idea where I got them, I
think DBVisualiser home page pointed me out for them. The ones I got are
open/free. Here are the md5sums of the files:

I could send you those if you're unable to find them. DbVisualiser works
excellent with those. Haven't tried OO, because my MSSQL machine is at
work.

You may run into jtds drives, but those didn't seem to work for me.
