Epiphany : switching from Galeon ??

Seeing as Galeon is now defunct and is going to be eaten by Epiphany, I
am now starting to use Epiphany, and need some help to do the switch.
I found the way to import the Galeon bookmarks, it was very easy to do
via the bookmarks menus. But there is something else I would like to
import as well: the URL/address bar history. I have typed so many URLs
in the address bar, that I am used to NOT remember them, and just type
the first few letters of them, and then the auto-completion feature
presents me with a list of pages and I can just easily/quickly select
the one I want with the keyboard.
How can I import all that history into Epiphany ? Is it even possible ?
I am hoping I can just copy some hidden file(s) somewhere...
While I am at it, I would like to keep the "favicons" from being
displayed, as they rarely look good, and aren't of great value
usability-wise, I find. I couldn't find an option to switch them off in
the preferences dialog. Is there a way to do it anyway ? Maybe apply
some patch then recompile ?
Thanks for any help :-)
