openoffice.org: Choosing 'Open' from Writer menu causes crash error and application hangs

Thank you for reporting this problem.  I need enough information to be able to 
reproduce this.  Could you post the output to the terminal when you start 
oowriter from the command line?  This should give some more information about 
where the crash occured.
