VMware on Ubuntu?

Oops, I see no instructions ! :-/  Nothin on the download page, and no
"readme" or "install" text file in the tar.gz. there is only a
"vmware-install.pl" script, and a few directories (bin, doc, etc,
installer, man, lib).  Where did you find the instructions ? :-(

Ah, sounds good then. Just need the initial instructions before I can
get to this stage...

Okay, I just installed them :-)

Yep, according to synaptic, it's already installed. Well, some version
of it anyway, seems many gcc packages are available...

Ohhh, that sounds great, please tell me where to find the initial
instructions !! :o)))
