horizontal screen shudder

I actually have the same problem on my system as well.  I'm using a BenQ
V772 monitor attatched to a Voodoo 5 5500 agp card.  It doesn't seem to
start until Ubuntu is fully loaded into the GUI.  I've even attempted
to disassemble and reassemble the entire system thinking it needed a
good cleaning.  It runs cleaner, but still has the graphics issue.
