I can completely recommend the Toshiba portege 9100 Everything Just Works :) wifi, screen, suspend, audio, DVD playback, TV out, etc untried: modem, Firewire IIRC, toshiba donated a few to the AGNULA (A GNU/Linux Audio distribution) project, so maybe that's why it works :) More here: http://tuxmobil.org/toshiba_tecra9100.html It's not AMD though
