More generally, this is a good tip for people not yet accustomed to
Linux: you can mark just about any kind of text by holding down the left
mouse button, and dragging over it with the mouse. Then you can paste
that text (just like you had typed it in on the keyboard) into any text
field by clicking with the middle mouse button (or both left and right
mouse button at the same time if you have a two-button mouse). If your
web browser is set up for it (not sure if Firefox is by default), you
can even mark any url anywhere and then "paste" it into the main window
and the browser will load the page.

This is the single thing I miss the most in other OS:s for me.
