Hoary / Gnome 2.10 : worth it ?

Menu editing never worked (yeah, I know, now you will say it worked,
but it had serious problems), in fact some distribution shipped w/o
menu editing since gnome-1.4.
Now vfolders were dropped and the whole menu subsistem is in re-writing
phase, thus it doesn't work atm (at least it doesn't have a gui).

About the mixer: I have a sblive and previous gnome mixers were
*unuseable*, with their 50+ sliders, so I'd say this is a big
improvement over the previous one.
