Dual Boot - Jittery

Hello., I know this is an old post, but thought I would try to raise
question here before making a new post.
Ihave a 2 disc setup, I actually had ubuntu on them both, as 2 seperate
installs (for testing something) the ubuntu install on to hdb worked
quite well at detecting the ubuntu version on hda, and setup the grub
file perfectly.
I then needed to return to fedora, I needed to have hda as the fedora
disk, as it is larger, and I need the space with fedora.
Anyway to the point, in the fedora install, fedora did not detect
Ubuntu at all, I was not too bothered about that as I had the HDD
install of knoppix alongside ubuntu in the past, that also failed to
find the other OS during install, but I just added the missing options
once the install had completed.
Unfortunately I am not having too much look with doing the same in FC.
(I will ask the question on a FC board as well - in case it is FC at
fault)
here is an extract from my backed up menu.list file:
Code:
--------------------
oops post this in a moment, backed up elsewhere will edit please check back in a couple of moments!!!!
--------------------
I have added the following to my grub.conf file in FC, but when ever I
restart the system, I hit the grub prompt, if I select Ubuntu, it says
it can not find the file or path.
Code:
--------------------
details added to the grub.conf
--------------------
any ideas on what I need to do to get ubuntu booting from the FC
grub.conf?
thanx in advance
Dave
PS: really tired, I hope that lot makes sense.......
